New Zealand could be described as an offshoot of the global Menzies Clan Society. They do not have a formal council and they manage things very well, as a group of friends. They have organised a Clan Gathering in NZ every two years since 2000, and these have been extremely successful. They deserve a lot of credit as it is an extremely difficult task. They do not have a venue and the Gathering moves location around the country every 2 years, alternating between North & South Islands.
